Cornbury Racehorse to Eventer Challenge Cup 2026
The Cornbury Racehorse to Eventer Challenge Cup will be run at British Eventing Open Novice level but using an FEI CCI2*-S dressage test in a long arena and with the showjumping phase last and in reverse order. Horses must not have competed at Advanced/CCI4* level and must have 2 MERs at Novice level in 2026.
Horses must have raced or have been in training at a registered training yard. Confirmation of this must be attached to your application.
The organiser needs to check their training/racing history before you make your entry. You can do this now using this form.
Before starting, you need to gather your paperwork. The horse's passport is probably the best starting point. If it isn't a Wetherby's passport then you will need some additional supporting documentation to help us to confirm that your horse is a Thoroughbred. You can upload a photo of the relevant pages within your application.
For 2026, your horse must have raced or been in training at a registered training yard. If they have raced, you will need to provide documentation of their racing history. If they have been in training, you will need to provide a letter of confirmation or equivalent from the training yard.
All applications will be reviewed as promptly as possible but this is likely to take at least 24 hours. Please make your application in good time before the Ballot Date of Cornbury Horse Trials.
If your horse's passport is issued by Wetherby's or Wetherby's Ireland, just upload a scan/photo of the page that confirms this.
You can also upload other files e.g. racing records from other countries.
